One more email to receive to switch off my connection with work. Though my plan is going to get massage with a burden-free mind once I receive the email. However that email doesn’t come.. It’s like an oasis which looked so close, actually is far from me. After walking in a couple of stores checking my email every five minutes, I ended up sitting down at a cafe until the email comes. Give me a break soon, people!

So, as I denied to use the term “all set”, I still have a duty to drive my work no matter where I am. Making my team to complete their tasks by harsh words and chasing them until the date changes to keep the schedule, I feel like a sheep dog now. Still, a lot better than being in Tokyo. After having a good breakfast at hotel looking over a city, my hubby and I worked all morning in our room. Then, as he left to visit the partner’s office, I closed my PC and came outside to fill my stomach. Street stand last night gave me braveness to try a variety of local food. So I decided to have my lunch at one of the popular noodle shop for locals. My lunch was Kuai tiao, rice noodle soup with pork liver and fish balls. Though I am not a big fan of liver, theirs was not so stinky and easy to eat. 80 bahts including fresh orange juice satisfied my stomach well.

Lack of sleep always causes migraine. Thanks to my mighty pill Rizatriptan and an hour of nap at hotel revived me. My trip this time is with no plans, except for dinner tonight. I’m lucky to have a cousin who works in Bangkok, she kindly took me a dinner. As our first choice was closed due to Sunday, we ate at a street stand nearby. Having spicy Thai food in heat mingling with locals which was completely another world for me was exactly what I needed to forget my life in Tokyo! Needless to say, food there was good and reasonable, and girl talk is always fun as you know!
